Welcome to Wholehearted Zen Sangha

A small Zen community, sitting together in the heart of ordinary life. Whatever brings you here — curiosity, a longing to wake up more fully to life — you are welcome.

On Tuesday evenings a small group gathers — in person and online, with others joining from different parts of London or further afield. We sit two periods of Zazen of around thirty minutes, with walking meditation in between. The evening includes a short dharma talk, guided meditation, or study group — we are currently reading Throw Yourself into the House of the Buddha together. Daisan — a one to one interview with the teacher to explore your practice — is also available. We close by chanting the four vows.

We also sit together online on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings, 7.30 to 8am — a quiet half hour to begin the day, open to anyone wherever they are.

Meditation is led by Tania Sensei, a recognised Zen teacher in the White Plum lineage, and a dharma successor of Catherine Genno Pagès Roshi of Dana Sangha, Paris. Read more About .
